Role description

We are seeking an experienced 4D Planner to join our team and support the successful delivery of complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in integrating project schedules with Building Information Models (BIM) to create accurate and effective 4D simulations. The successful candidate will be subject to security clearance procedures. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and manage 4D models to support project planning and delivery.
  • Integrate project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent) with 3D BIM models.
  • Collaborate with project managers, planners, engineers, and BIM teams to ensure accurate sequencing and construction methodology.
  • Provide 4D simulations and visualisations for tendering, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery.
  • Monitor progress and update models to reflect current project status.
  • Support continuous improvement of digital construction processes.
  • The successful candidate may be required to work on-site with clients several days per week.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in construction planning and scheduling.
  • Proficiency with 4D planning software (Synchro, Navisworks, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of BIM processes and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in BIM coordination or management within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members in BIM processes.
  • Expertise in BIM authoring and coordination tools (Revit, Navisworks, Synchro, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, digital delivery, and project lifecycle management.
