Role description

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and wider teams to ensure accurate and achievable plans.
- Identify potential risks and delays and provide mitigation strategies.
- Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to support decision-making.
- Ensure alignment of schedules with project budgets, resources, and contractual requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in project planning within construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.

We’re looking for a DevOps & Cloud Operations Engineer to take ownership of our CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, automation, and platform reliability — while also coordinating our on-premise infrastructure and IT suppliers. This is a hybrid role combining DevOps engineering, cloud operations, and light IT/infrastructure oversight, with progression opportunities. Our environment spans Azure, GCP, Microsoft 365, and an on-prem server environment managed by external providers. You will help ensure stability across all environments, coordinate upgrades and maintenance with suppliers, and strengthen our security and compliance posture Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001.
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps Engineering (50%)
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Angular, and Next.js (Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).
- Lead cloud cost reporting and contribute to long-term DevOps tooling and strategy.
- Optimise environment stability, incident response, and system performance
Cloud, IT Operations & On-Prem Coordination (30%)
- Manage M365 admin, licensing, and IT supplier coordination
- Oversee on-prem server uptime, supplier escalations, and hybrid infrastructure planning.
- Maintain device inventory, access governance, and support internal transitions from external vendors.
Security Compliance & Audit Support (15%)
- Support Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 implementation.
- Assist with security reviews, patching, and risk/compliance documentation.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement (5%)
